On 25th May 2014, I will be running again. This time it’s Edinburgh Marathon and I will run for a really good cause, for the Mental Health Foundation. These are the key areas in which their work is focused:
- improve policy and practice in mental health,
- campaign to raise awareness and remove stigma,
- provide high quality advice and information to help people better manage their mental health and wellbeing,
- provide practical solutions to improve the quality and access to mental health services in the UK.
My last marathon was in Amsterdam in 3:54 and I am hoping for a faster time in Edinburgh. Any donations towards the charity of my choice the Mental Health foundation are greatly appreciated. My fundraising page is: Yllka’s Fundraising page.
I will update regularly about my training and the progress. You can also follow my training on Strava: Yllka’s Strava Page
